Do you know Candy Loving? The Playboy’s Companion

Candy Loving, also known as Candy Loving because that was her stage name, was born on September 4, 1956, in Oswego, Kansas. She and her mother and four other siblings relocated to Ponca City, Oklahoma, when she was just 3 years old. She married Ron Prather in 1974 after receiving her high school diploma from Ponca City.

Later, Candis declared her major to be public relations at the University of Oklahoma. In essence, she is a successful American model. Loving was named Playmate of the Month for the January 1979 issue of Playboy, making her the magazine’s 25th Anniversary Playmate. Dwight Hooker, a renowned photographer, captured Loving’s centerfold.

Loving’s Emerging Playboy Career

For its special 25th anniversary publication, Playboy magazine launched a nationwide search for the “Best Playmate” in 1978. She was a first-year student at the University of Oklahoma who supplemented her income by waiting tables and working at a fashion shop. While all of this was happening in her life, she noticed an advertisement in the newspaper that piqued her curiosity in the glam industry. Her husband insisted she enter the competition, and she received assistance from photographer Dwight Hooker in obtaining the best shot test images of Loving.

The 1979 Playboy edition featured a centerfold with Loving. Loving moved to California that year to pursue her goals of being an actress and model, taking advantage of her celebrity status and attractive appearance. During the 25th anniversary festivities of Playboy magazine, she traveled extensively and nearly saw the entire planet.

Loving was a senior at the University of Oklahoma and was continuing her course in public relations at the time of her 1979 January centerfold appearance. By 1981, she suddenly realized that the glamorous world of celebrities was not for her and that she preferred to return to her previous simpleton existence as a regular person. So, when she was 25 years old, she re-enrolled at Oklahoma University to get her degree. She intended to earn her journalism bachelor’s degree before going on to earn her human relations master’s degree.

She used the earnings from her position at Playboy magazine to pay for her whole education. Loving continued to promote this magazine, sometimes signing posters at different car events, while also considering her job possibilities. Loving first met Dave Reavis while they were both serving as judges at a beauty pageant. In 1983, Loving then followed Dave to Tampa.

Despite the fact that their relationship ended quickly due to personal problems, Loving stayed in Southern Florida and created benefit packages for healthcare organizations. She had a gorgeous daughter despite getting divorced due to an affair and other personal issues.

Family, relationships, and personal life

Candis’ mother reared her. She had four siblings, but their real names are concealed due to her preference for maintaining a separation between her personal and professional lives. After graduating, Loving quickly wed Rob Prather, but due to her Playboy reputation and job, their marriage did not last for a long time.

Later in life, she began dating offensive lineman for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Dave Reavis, and even moved to Florida to live with him. However, adding to her bad luck in love, even that relationship did not last long, and they eventually drifted apart and went their separate ways. Despite the fact that her identity is not known to the general world, Candis has a stunning daughter, but she keeps a very low profile about her. Her daughter completed her university studies in 2013, and while she is aware of her mother’s past, she never feels ashamed to lend support.

Candy Loving, the Playboy Playmate, model, and sex icon, led a highly varied and full life that included a number of relationships and close friendships. She had a huge list of potential suitors waiting in line, but sadly, none of her relationships progressed further. Either she gave up on dating later or she kept it a secret from the public.

In 1979, she appeared in the television series “Dance Fever,” and on February 19 of the following year, she played a character in an episode of “The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo.” She also appeared in Woody Allen’s 1980 film “Stardust Memories,” where she appeared briefly as Tony’s girlfriend in a walk-on appearance at the very end.
